I'm a 27 year old Mommy of 2 crazy girls who are smarter than they need to be. They're Lydia (4) and Maya (nearly 2). I'm also a Navy wife to Scott. At the moment, the girls and I are living with my mom in Michigan while Scott gets to enjoy the wonderful weather of San Diego. We're waiting (impatiently) for our housing there.
I am hiding in the computer room while Maya naps and Lydia is watching a Barbie movie. Maya should not be napping this late, but she fell asleep between me putting her in her high chair and me bringing her food to her. Oh well.
My life isn't too exciting right now. We go through our daily routine and then start over again the next day. I'm hopeful that when we get to SD, we'll have all sorts of things to do every day. It doesn't help that it snows at least once a week here. I don't hate the snow, but it just makes things harder when I have to get 2 kids in and out
of their car seats, make sure they're warm enough and keep them safe in it all. But at least it's fun to take them out and let them play in it. The girls are pretty much my life right now. Sometimes I wish I had more to do, but I guess right now it's not practical for me to have too much going on. Maybe once Maya's in school, I'll be able to make my own dreams come true and go to school to be an architect. I am apprehensive about it, though because what happens if I go through schooling for it and I find out it's not what I thought it was? That would suck, what would I do then? I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
Ok, time to play Disney Guess Who! Lydia kicked my butt last night at it.
