A Revelation!

Ok, today I was thinking about the movie Madagascar for whatever reason and I kept saying something that the zebra said, "Oh, Sugar-Honey-Ice-Tea!" And I realized how sneaky those people who write children's movies are. Just think of the acronym! I'm amazed, honestly, that's genius. (But apparently, I'm not the first one to notice it!)

So now we might be flying out on the 30th because I am impatient. One thing that I am stressing about now is that we are getting buddy passes (yay, thanks, Ed!), but they are stand-by, so it is a possibility that we could not be able to get on the flight after the fun of getting all the way to the gate. I don't really know what to expect in this whole excursion. I mean the only time I've ever flown was to Germany and that was what, maybe 10 years ago? Many things have changed since then, plus it was a totally different situation. I did work security at the airport about 5 years ago, so I know kindof what happens before you get on the plane, but once I'm on the plane...eek! Plus I'll be pretty much alone with both girls for most of it, their bed time will be about an hour into the flight and I have no guarantee that they'll sleep at all. I feel like even though I can plan to have a lot of snacks and toys, I cannot plan for how they'll behave (or misbehave). Then, we have to get there early (at least 2 hours!) and keep the girls occupied before we even get on the plane. I mean, if they don't sleep, that's like at least 7 hours of figuring out what to do to keep them happy in a confined place. And if we want to take a small walk while waiting, I have to carry everything we have with us. I mean the list of stresses goes on and on! Even though all that is going on in my head, I'm still really excited and cannot wait to go. One thing that's making things easier is that I have a ton of things planned for the weekends coming up and the weeks go by so quickly already.
Ok, it's almost 2am. Better get a wee bit of sleep!
